Jenny Fleming, CPA, CFP®, PFS

Equistar founder Jenny Fleming has been involved in the financial services industry for 22 years.  Her career began as the comptroller of her family’s business where she was responsible for the investments of a life insurance company and accounting for various other entities.  She later purchased that business and managed its sale to a large publicly owned institution.  After relocating to Austin, Jenny became the Treasurer and Vice President for a life insurance company where she managed a $95 million dollar portfolio.

She is a Certified Public Accountant with the Personal Financial Specialist and Certified Financial Planner ™ designation. She worked for an Austin-based financial planning firm for more than three years serving high net worth clients.  Jenny managed $86 million for her clients until she left in September of 2008 to start her own wealth management company.

In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Jenny recieved the distinction of being named “Five Star Wealth Manager-Best in Client Satisfaction” by Texas Monthly, one of only 7% of wealth managers in the Austin, San Antonio, and the Central Texas region to be chosen for this award.

She is highly experienced in business transition, federal income tax, trusts, estate issues, retirement planning, stock options, and investing.  Jenny has also worked closely with individuals in financial and life transitions.

Jenny is married to John Fleming, a local attorney.
